The use of generic interfaces based on the Representation State Transfer (REST) style architecture provides a simple way to access data and control processes in some seemingly complex scenarios. METECS developed mREST using this REST style architecture as a way to provide orchestration needs at NASA. METECS and the Navy are in the process of making mREST an IEEE standard.

Remote monitoring and controlling is a highly desirable feature for any simulation or test facility. METECS has experience implementing remote monitoring through a web-based interface to:
